Well I've been on here for quite a while and have never started any kind of a build thread. Now my project is getting to the point where I need to keep things straight, and my memory and attention span is getting fairly counter productive to this. So I'll be using this as a way to keep things listed about what I need to address as well as keep a detailed list of things. Here are some shots of when I first got her about 2 years ago from a guy in BFE Washington for $5k Ran, drove, stopped but had some problems he didn't tell me about. truck has a 350, 700r4, and 4:10s with a working g80 on 33x12.5x16.5. Ended up going through it and fixed Engine Oil leaks, coolant leaks, replaced the oil pan, oil pump, valve cover gaskets, valve covers, junky fuel line, brake booster, brake master cylinder, all of the brakes, transmission pan, added a B&M transmission cooler with an electric fan, alternator, battery, starter, interior stuffs, LMC headlights and painless wiring relay kit, Tinted the rear window (not pictured), chrome side strips, windshield several times to get rid of water leaks and all kinds of other things which I cant remember now.
Add stereo, speakers, amp and 12" sub to that list above, along with adding a proper tow receiver instead of the homemade it came with, and adding a gauge in the dash for trans temp.
Left on my to do list as of now is as follows: (at least until I get bored and want to swap a motor and trans, custom offroad bumpers, air compressor, ARB air lockers, and other things that will happen when I win the lottery ) Find and correct fuel tank issues Check rear end for problems/adjustment Front sway bar bushings U-Joints All Leaf spring bushings Ball joints and tie rod ends Long tube header install (passenger side pipe before the H pipe is making contact with leaf spring hanger) Steering stabilizer Front shock Rear shock Fix trailer brake controller Jeep steering shaft mod Toyo A/T II 305/70R16 for the ultra 50 16" wheels pictured and do away with the 16.5 Sound deadening material New MIP flooring Spray in Bedliner Possibly repaint The reason this is going to be a slow and steady project is that it is my daily driver to and from work Monday-Friday, plus being the only income in my household does make budget a factor.
