Those cab corner Camper Special logos in good shape are obviously rare. I had a set sell on eBay for $40 about 2 months after I scrapped that burnt cab truck and saved those that were still in good shape.

Not much going on other then racking up miles. Since I put the head back on and got her rolling I've been daily driving here and going to cruise nights. I have started to plan paint and interior. I bought an upholstery sewing machine and have been pineing thru material samples. Oh and a P-pump to go in eventually!

Love the build! It's given me some ideas for my 84. If you don't mind, what size plate did you use for your adapters? This seems like a way more cost effective way of playing with big wheels.

It's a 1" thick donut I had burnt. Then had the 8-lug drilled and the 10-lug drilled and tapped. 3/4" NF bolts from the back act as the 10-lug studs. Very easy.

No not really. I ended up loosing an external voltage regulator and charging at 19+ volts. that took out both low beams so I went with Napa bulbs instead of the Phillips Crystal Visions.... big mistake. I wish I could burn them up and get another set of the Phillips'. I ended up doing an internal voltage regulator mod to the Cummins alternator. It worked perfectly. I'm glad I didn't have more electronics hooked up when the external went out. If I had burnt up a bunch of stereo equipment from over charging I would have been pissed! Besides a little towing and more miles not much has changed. I have YJ in the shop doing a superduty axle swap that needs to go so I can get the Fat Girl back in for some more mods.

19 volts is way high. I like those Phillip's Crystal Vision headlights. Good product for sure.

Post some pics of Fat Girl when you get some stuff done.

    Turning 22.5s

    first of all Awersom truck.

I am in the process of building something kind of like it.

GMC sixties body on a 3500 dodge frame etc etc.

Anways i am at the point where i have to turn down the front rims.

I am curious how much you turned yours down on the lathe? it is seem to me like take the full 1/4 inch will make them too thin ? any input i your have on this will be greatly appraciated.
