I Got a TH-400 In my 1982 C20 (2WD) 6.2L Diesel Parts truck I plan on taking out once I find out the Engine runs & I can verify the trans works. (Old man I bought from said it did & was rebuilt) Guess I'll find out.

I am not sure if it will work on a Gas without changing the governor, and Shift/TV Cable. (SORRY I DONT KNOW TH Transmissions very well)

Once It's pulled I will be selling it & The 2-Piece Drive Shaft.

No on what?

TH-400's have an electrical kick down switch on the column that is controlled by the gas pedal. That connects to this orange wire on the driver's side of the transmission.

This one is Diesel. Not gas. Therefore It's Vaccum Controlled.

It’s vacuum modulated, with an electronic kickdown. Rearward of your selector is a case connector with a spade terminal. Inside is a kickdown solenoid and adjacent to your gas pedal is the switch. Diesels actually make little vacuum, so you’ll probably have a vacuum pump to modulate it, maybe not though.

Th400s are pretty common, so without legit rebuild receipts—it is what it is...

You're trying to market a THM400 but saying it has a TV cable. They're pointing out that if it has a cable it's not a 400. It's hard to put a value on a question mark.

If it is a 400 from a 2WD my guess is "not much", a 4WD with the heavier case may be worth "not much more". I wouldn't throw it out, but don't expect to get hundreds of dollars for it.

Trans shops that actually need them usually pay about $150 for a core.

Better to sell it before it's pulled so buyer can test drive and verify functionality. Might be able to get $350 that way.

Chevy 400 cores in my area go for 100-125, the 4X4 cores maybe 50 bucks more. If it works as expected, place a for sale ad while it’s still driveable

First off, I wasn't sure if it did have a TV Cable, Especially on the Diesel Application, My Knowledge is 700R4s.
Second, As I looked into it, I've come to the factor yes it is Vaccum controlled, I had made the post before looking into the truck So I was unsure of what it had This truck has the Heavier duty GVWR Rating on it, Which also had the Heavier Duty Transmission & Suspension not to mention being Canadian made, I believe it is an 8900 GVW Rating.

Yeah well, The truck is being parted out so there ain't gonna be no "test drive and verify functionality" It has the Rebuilders tag on it although.
The Rear-Wheel Is Frozen solid to the drum and I've beaten on it with a 20 LB Sledgehammer and probably wasted more than 2 cans of Spay on it with no luck.

Unfortunately, a builders tag doesn't tell you **** about the condition it's in since it was rebuilt. Core value at best.
