It's been over 20 years since I tore down and rebuilt a TH350 some memory isn't the best, but isn't there a way using a second spring to increase the tension on the detent.Doing fluid and filter on one latter today but it's a th350 in a powerglide car. Powerglide columns have no weren't in the column so want to firm u0 the shift selection while I'm in there.Just wanna chase parts once. Thanks

For the transmissions I build for off road stuff I’ll use a second detent spring with the roller cut off. That basically doubles spring tension on the rooster comb. It takes more effort to shift the trans, but it’s also more likely to stay in gear when your bouncing around out in the rocks and dirt
