Does anyone know where to purchase these? The ones I have on my new harness are OK but the 194 sockets just dont have any and the other ones are about 35 years old. Time for an update.

Use an O-Ring. I got mine at Ace Hardware.

Does that make full contact on the surface? I figured they were foam for a reason, but if they have kept yours sealed then I can do that, I have multiple plastic cases with different sizes. Maybe use the largest one possible as to have it compress outwards as to increase surface area clean and sealed?
