It's likely the switch or the module that plugs into the harness needs repaired. Whatever ends up being wrong, if you don't want to repair it, you can send it my way.

The module plugs in between the harness and the switch. It's very likely that the contacts in the switch need cleaned to get your washer to work. With a voltmeter, you can test for 12v and switched ground at the washer pump connector on the wiper motor.

The plug should have ignition power at all times on the white-ish colored wire, and ground on the other when the washer is pushed.

Sounds like the other switch had the module with it.

I may buy that one tomorrow just for *****... do you need one?

Actually I do! I think the module in my '79 can be repaired and the switch I think is good. But I really want to add delay to my '78 Burb. I seem to drive in light, misting rain a lot, lol.

If i can snag it and dont need it ill shoot it your way. He was asking $15 for the switch and module. Switch had no knob, is that good?
