Suburban Receiver Hitch

I had heard that a standard or universal type Receiver Hitch won't fit a Squarebody Suburban. I guess I figured out why. The frame is angled at the ass end of the frame rails.


Do K5 Blazers do this too or is just the Burbs???

Yea I was gonna swipe the receiver hitch off my parts burb and then I noticed that darn angled part.

That's what I was going to do. I was going to borrow the receiver off the Burb for my K1500 to tow this trailer around. I don't really like towing 5500-6500 lbs off of the bumper like I did for 70 miles from my dads. :eek:

Anyone know if K5's are the same way or are the K5's straight like the trucks? :shrug:

K5 is straight. At least they are on the 89 and 77.

If I remember I can compare all mine. For some reason I'm thinking there was something different about the K5 hitch too.
