When it comes to cubic feet space for subs. Do you add the amount needed by the number of subs? So .60 cub.ft for 1 sub and I have 4 subs. Do I need 2.4 cub.ft

Yes but you'd probably be better off dividing the total box into four - one for each.

Yes, add all together.
Don't forget to account for the displacement of the sub in the space as well.
Add that to the total space needed for the total volume.

Since you’re adding 4 subs, I’m assuming K5 or Suburban.

If K5, and assuming you remove the top, I’d highly recommend going ported.

Sealed boxes almost require the vehicle to have all 6 walls to help you feel the bass. Once you remove the top, open the windows, and 80 mph, bass goes “out the window”.

I only have 2 10s in a ported (38hz) enclosure and you still feel the bass.

When I designed my system, I was thinking about those wake boats you hear/feel on the lake.

I have two 3.5”, four 6.5”, two 6x9” and the two 10s ported. It gets the job done. Plus the subs are easily unplugged and removed if I need the extra room for a road trip.
