I have a 1979 C-10 with the "Chevy Sport Truck" package--all original and I am restoring. The Chevy Sport Package came with two-tone paint and unique stripes. Does anyone know if these stripe kits are reproduced by anyone?

This is the pickup. I will get some better photos of the stripes and send later. This pickup belonged to my uncle (pictured) who passed away last November. He was the Chevrolet Dealer in 1979 and basically sold this pickup to himself. I have the original invoice and the delivery receipt, which he signed. It's a 1979 short bed with a 454 and the Chevy Sport Package. Everything on the pickup is original, except for the roll bar (which I removed) and the bed rails, which were dealer installed option. The aluminum wheels are factory. It has 86,000 miles on it and i am going to do a frame off restoration.

Mine had the painted pin striping, and after a couple of waxes and polishes those are mostly gone.

That’s a unique truck, different style two tone for sure. I like it!
Good call on removing the roll bar, they’re a relic from the past that should remain in the past.

Im looking as well for my 79 Chevy Sport. I have a friend who owns a sign shop who is supposed to help me reproduce mine. Phoenix Graphix needs an unused nos sport stripe kit in order to reproduce it so they weren't much help. Im guessing a nos stripe kit for one is rare as seeing bigfoot.

I thought their slogan back in the day was "Any decal, any car, any year". Maybe they consider trucks to be a loophole.
