My dad's 87 Chevy dump pulled my '88 Jimmy out of a yard in March. I'd call that a Square Body rescue

I kept saying, "NO WAY!" "NO WAY!!" the whole video. But I know it would be a pain in the you know what to be in that fix if you blew up your motor and had no idea how you were going to get out of a fix like that. That Jeep owner is lucky he has friends like he does who have equipment like they do that got him out of a gully like that. That's why I don't do those kinds of things because I don't even know anyone who can come to help me on the level street in the middle of the city where I live, let alone on the side of a mountain.

Of couirse the whole trick is to never go off into situations like that one alone. It wouldn't matter if you had a cell phone or what, you probably couldn't call anyone any way. Like @hischdalechevy, I'm sure in his emergency kit he has a radio somewhere to call out in case he finds himself in a "fix". But I'm sure he knows a bunch of people he goes off roading with who have all kinds of equipment to get themselves out of gullies like that one. In the end they had two of those other Jeeps hooked to the wrecker pulling. I was saying midway through that, "They need another vehicle to pull on the yellow Jeep, he doesn't have enough ass to pull the wrecker and the Jeep hooked to it." That's why he kept slipping, not enough weight to get traction.
