I don't have one of those on my map screen, it looks different....

On Your phone or computer.
If the location setting is not turned on then the map cant find Your location and wont drop the pin in Your location.
I see the pin I installed years ago is still in the south eastern portion of Montana.

I’m surprised the map does not interact and drive a spike into Your location.

It seems to load threw google maps automatically, cause my other saved locations are on there as always, it just has the other member tags over it. Map looks different than what you guys are showing.
There's nothing to tag or pin or whatever
