Squarebody 3/4 ton rearends

What there 2 different rearends used on the 86 squarebody 3/4 ton? I was told there was a factory 3/4 ton then there was also a heavy duty rearend option but both had the 8 lug wheels.

The full-floater 10.5" GM 14 bolt will handle more weight/abuse than the 9.5" semi-floater rear axle.
