Did the factory build trucks with springs on top of the axel? I would doubt it but my truck seems lifted both the front springs and rear are on top of the axles. How hard would it be for me to put them back to factory? Here is how far it’s disassembled, we’ll at least the front

GM put the leaf springs on top of the axles.... unlike some Jeeps where they are mounted below the axles.

Why would you like to lower a 4x4 ?
I checked the springs they are stock. GM trucks have the leaf springs on top of the axles. The truck looks factory height to me. Check if the previous owner added a body lift, but it doesn't look like.
Lowering a 4x4 straight axle leaf spring truck costs $$$. Best way would be to ditch the leaf springs and put air bags on it. You could put the axles on top of the springs but there are no kits (afaik) for that you would have to be creative and fab all of it.
There will be interference with frame, pumpkin and crossmember, oil pan driveshaft adjustments, steering adjustments, etc., etc.,etc.
Get a 2wd if you want to have a lowered truck.
Just my 0.02$

Your opinions are well taken since it’s stock I’ll keep it that way for sure. Maybe I should raise it
