I saw a '85 3/4 ton 4wd today that has damage to the passenger side door (nothing severe). It has a 350 c.i. and comes with a bed cover. Don't know the mileage but the owner is asking $2500. I'm thinking about offering him $2000 cash. Should I?

You guys in the Pacific Northwest have no idea how good you have it with Squarebody Availability. I get excited if I see one Squarebody per week besides my own. My truck stands out down here which is good, but buying one is expensive which is not.

If that truck is running it's worth $20K down here. For $2K...there would be no question.

That sounds pretty reasonable considering..
I just bought a 1987 Chevy K20, 350, 4 speed, 4x4, flat bed for $800.

After shopping for 4x4 chevy trucks in your area, that seems pretty good. Assuming the description is accurate of course.

The man selling it is a golf buddy and the assistant Pastor of our church. Drove by and took a picture. I would rework the exhaust pipes first if I buy it.

If you buy that truck for anything less than $10K you better ask your Pastor to help you do some Praying for Forgiveness. That would be stealing down here where I live.

As long as there is no rust issues, I'd say go for it. The good thing about 4x4s (and squares in general), is that even if you do a buy a turd on accident, you can still part them out and profit, on the condition you bought it cheap enough to begin with. This particular truck looks to be a steal though, assuming it's all still solid besides its door dent.

What I'm hearing is I need to pull an Ayden and buy up squares under 5k, get a tow rig and transport them east(South and North) in order to kick off an earnings spree. Who wants to be my co-pilot?

I'm game, lol.

I've thought for a long time that I should buy every rust free square I can find cheap and bring them all out to rustland and sell them.
