Think about ways to install a kill switch using factory switches, maybe install an older high beam switch on the floor to interrupt the fuel pump. maybe use cruise control switch to close or latch a relay that power fuel pump.

I am searching for ideas to make an incognito anti start device, anyone have any ideas.

I am kinda leaning twords the high beam switch because I would like to hook up cruise control sometime

Seriously, though, I don't know how industrious the tweakers are down there in Lewis county, but I would think a high beam switch would be too obvious, especially on a truck that didn't come with one.

Or do just that and also put a dummy switch on the dash somewhere and label it "kill switch" but don't hook it up, lol.
Was going to suggest a cig lighter kill switch if you don't use the lighter or power from it, but apparently that's all over google, so not tweaker proof.

Main thing is to make it easily accessible for you so it's not obvious you're hitting the kill switch when people are around.
Add or use the cargo light switch in the B pillar? If you have a cargo light, you can just run it direct and it will just always turn on with the dome light.

Okay here's what I was thinking Fuel pump relay low side triggered by power antennae lead. High side fuel pump relay powered through. fused floor mounted high beam switch. Radio off truck won't run , high beam switch in the wrong position, truck won't run, good luck figuring out that combo unless you were told. I am assuming you're going to buy a radio anyway.

P.S. say that's the stupidest thing I ever heard of, and don't tell us when you wire it that way.

Most manual vehicles came with an anti-millennial theft switch called the neutral safety switch. Not only can they not figure out how to start it, if they accidently do, still can't figure out how to make it move, lol. Seriously though, I used to just have a master switch on the dash labeled "trailer brakes". No clue if would work or not since truck was never taken.

I'm glad I don't have to think about someone stealing my stuff... Keys are left in the ignition, doors unlocked...
Anyone reading this wants to try, you better bring a treat for my German Shepherds! :)

The third pedal alone is a theft deterrent. But add in some switches with or without labels, and you have a vehicle that will most likely be safe.

I know a guy that has a sign above the gate facing the front door. He did this for a reason. The sign says, "My dogs can reach the gate in 1.86 seconds. How fast can you run?"

Ricko1966 that is freaking genius, I like it alot.

I am not worried at all when I am at home, but if I go see family in the ******** cities some of them live in I would like some theft deterrance especially homemade and cheap.

I had my last square body stolen from a walmart 5 years ago and it still has never been found, the cop told me that with only a screwdriver thiefs can take these trucks in 10 seconds by breaking the column by the turn signal and actuating the starter just like the key was in the ignition. my new truck has a whole lot more $ dumped into it and its not gonna get jacked by a thief
