Seat Question

I have a guy wanting to trade me the bucket seats and console out of his 98 Shortbed Z71. I have an 82 stepside with a bench seat. Will my bench seat fit in his truck without any problem? And will his buckets and console mount in my truck without to much hassle? Thanks in advance.

Yours will fit in his fairly easy.. His will NOT fit in yours easy.. Someone here did it. I can't find the thread for some reason. He had to cut the floor out to make the buckets fit..

Old77 is the one who cut out his floors for newer seats.

Matt, you can take 2 sets of seat brackets from a square and mount them to the buckets. I have a friend that did a 60/40 seat that way. Here's a link just find the seat photos it will give you some info maybe.
