Just installed my new rough country lift and 35s. I know rough country gets some hate, but I’m more than pleased.

Nice ride!Get away from those auto locking hubs,if the truck sees even a mild trail.I think those things break if you look at them the wrong way.

They are great for a daily driver when they work properly. Right up until there's that one time you really need them and one refuses to lock, lol.

Hey I just wanted to check in with you and ask how the ride is on the rough country and if you went with the real leafs or just blocks? My square's suspension is shot all to **** and wanted to bring it down out of the air a bit with a 2' lift. I just found the rough country set up and seems like a good deal figured I would ask a real person for a review instead of trusting their online testimonials. Thanks for your help

Nice truck. Why does Rough Country get so much hate I don't understand. Is everything they sell junk?

Mine has had auto locking hubs since Nov 1983 and never had an issue. It is not babied either.
The problems I have seen with them is most people put too much grease in them which causes issues. We have gumbo mud here in the deep south that is hard on vehicles, so wondering if it is the colder climate up north that causes issues? Stiff grease in cold temps not allowing them to fully engage?

I’ve busted both Warn and Mile Marker hubs over the years, but doesn’t mean they are all a bad product.

They ride very rough, that's all. For the same price you can get a set of Tuff Country EZ-rides that ride 100% better.
