Have any y'all replaced the jute insulation on the firewall?
My '84 C-10 has the heater box and ductwork removed, and a new pad received from good ol' LMC
So, how big of a job is it?
Do I need to remove the fuse box, pedal bracket, and...................????
Or, are there shortcuts??

Just do the reverse of what you did to take the old one out.

Ahhhhh, the classic "Reverse procedure to install."
Won't exactly work in this instance...the old one is coming out in chunks, and it is difficult to get
the replacement to tear in exactly the same manner as the original........
