Hello all! I need a new steering wheel and thinking a 70 Chevelle 3 spoke type would look nice in the truck. The question is whether it would bolt in without any modification? I would buy the mount kit with the steering wheel from Austley's Chevelle parts.

Thanks

Pretty much all of the GM steering wheels interchange from '67 to the mid 90's. For example, my '79 has a steering wheel from an 80's Cavalier wagon, but it's the same steering wheel used on the '71-'72 Chevelle's.

When the OP asked his question, I tried to find the pics of the Cavalier steering wheel, but I couldn’t. Where are those at?

The pics of mine? Beats me, I can look around though, lol. Installed in a Cavalier? They seem to have been uncommon.

There was a thread on here talking about non-square GM steering wheel swaps, and the Cavalier one is the one that stuck in my memory. I was gonna share the link on here, but I couldn’t find it.

I remember that thread I think. I know mine is in the thread started several years ago, for interior pics.

I always commonly see 60s and 70s chevy trucks with the late 80s and early 90s 4 spoke wheel... i hate that, granted i love that wheel in my 94 burb where it belongs.

The Chevelle steering wheel arrived and it's in. Looks great! I had forgotten how thin steering wheels were back in the day. It's still an upgrade from stock.

Here is the one I got from LMC truck. I like it I wish the dish depth was less so that the wheel itself was a little closer to the column giving me more room. I think I'll be switching to 38-1167 in the second image. I just wish it was bigger than 14".
