So I just did a full rebuild of my Carter AFB, I put in 401 jets in the primaries and 398s in the secondaries with 73/47 metering rods and Orange metering springs. The issue I am having is at initial quick snap acceleration the truck wants to die, under smooth accel she does just fine. I played with different jets and metering rods/ spring combos to see if that would make a difference. Float bowls have fuel, I'm stuck on thinking its something to do with the accelerator pump system just no idea what could be fumbling... Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated.
