anybody have one they want to get rid of, or know of one is at in a junk yard? I have checked a few places around me, and no luck. I would like to have one with all the mounting brackets.

I bought an 83 K1500 recently with a rear anti-sway bar, was thinking about taking it off, since for a trail truck it kinda limits travel. I have no idea how much it would be to ship something like that though, it's such an odd shape.

It's for my truck. I looked at the JC Whitney one you posted, it said it was not compatible.

I got a little junkin to do today but I'm wanting to get a little done on the back end of the blue truck today as well. While I'm in there I'll take some pics and put them here so you might be able to tell if it will work for you. It's on an 83 K1500 shortbed 4WD, 10-bolt rear. The axle brackets look similar to u-bolts with brackets, and I didn't look real close at the front but it has end links with bushings that I think just attach to the frame itself.

Frame brackets for end links, looks like they just sandwich the frame, and the ridgidity of the swaybar prevents them from coming loose...

I went ahead and soaked all the fasteners with PB Blaster and planned on hitting them with the impact but the rain came. It will be coming off though, you can tell it limits rear travel.

Hell yes, did you ever find out how much it'll be to ship? How much do you want for the sway bar? I definitely want it, it will make my truck handle better. So I can start Drifting, getting all side ways and ****.

I have no idea what it would take to ship, or really what kind of packaging to do on it. It would be such an odd shape it could possibly go $20-$30 just guessing. How does $60 + ship sound?

Also I would need your address again (at least your zip) to get an estimate.

I did a guesstimation of 77521, and if it could actually cram into a 32"x32"x8" box, and if it actually weighed 15 pounds FedEx wants $44.56 :( I really doubt it would fit in a box that small.

When I was sending strut tower braces from Cutlass convertibles through UPS, they just taped it up and wrapped a shipping label around it...
