I own two Chevy trucks out of this era, a 1983 Frankensteiner truck, K20,350, sm465/205 case,4.10, 84 or newer hydraulic clutch, Warn 8274 winch and also an 1986 C20, 454, T400,3.21 ratio. It came with a Ramsey RE8000 with a hidden kit that mounts behind and under front bumper, with a roller fairlead that exits right under the license plate.........I am curious, and have been too lazy to disassemble the Ramsey kit, is anybody here aware of whether or not the front frame rails of a 73-87 C series and K series are the same, as id like to find another K series truck to aqcuire, and the Ramsey hidden mount is a really nice, compact, tidy mount?
