1982 GMC TH350 hooked to Edelbrock Carb/ 350 Engine

My kick-down cable must be a bastard because I have ordered two from the internet and both were too large to fit in the transmission. My old one is 25/64" (9.93 mm) in diameter without the seal/o-ring. The other end does not matter...I'll fashion something that works to my Edelbrock.

No one has one locally and online - one cannot tell from photos what they are exactly and no one gives that particular specification/ measurement.

Can anyone help me find one OR the correct part number?
Thank you Kindly in advance!

I think all kickdown cables measure the same, they use a o-ring. The later THROTTLE VALVE (TV) cables for the overdrive trans use a boot type seal. Are the parts store trying to sell you a TV cable and not a kickdown for 350?

All I know is that the 2 that I have purchased already and returned were BOTH for a TH 350 and BOTH had difference size fittings. Both were too large. The first one was not even the correct shape and was huge. The second one looked like my original BUT was about 7/16" in diameter. The one I need is 25/64". Like I said I have a Basterd.
