I had really been looking in to it. I know of someone doing it to a 1970 El Camino using 1960 Cadillac mechanisms so it is entirely possible.

It would be awesome. I would love being able to open the passenger wing window without having to lean all the way across the truck.

I was going to embark on this exact project about 5 years ago, and actually had the caddy parts in my garage. lack of equipment and time killed the project.

Was thinking of some power pop out, or power sliding windows for the sides too. I seem to remember a manual sliding window kit for the Burbs....longer version of the K5 windows.

Also what i thought would be cool would be to make the little windows on the rear doors of a burb or 3+3 power pop outs like an ext cab would have. Think power windows, power wings, and power pop outs. you would have 8 switches for windows on the driver door lol.

Cadillacs did have 8 switches for all the windows in the early 60s...Power vents front and rear.

You, Jim and myself are probably the only people that have even put this much thought in to it to be honest.
