EDIT: Game Restarted AGAIN 3/7/2018. See Post # 669 Page 67 for updated Rules.

Hey members, I am stealing an idea from another forum I mod. Just wanted some opinions if we'd have enough players to do this or not.

Copy and Paste of their rules below. We can modify rules as we see fit of course. They've been playing this game for over a year and have like a 26 page long thread now. Its pretty cool.

    Squarebody Photo Rally

Here is a fun game for you guys, hope it will work. I stole the idea from another forum from somebody who stole the idea from another forum...

The idea is to start with an object or a location and post a picture of YOUR TRUCK with that object. It must be a fresh photo with your actual Truck. Not an old photo you found in your photo album. This is a fun way of taking your truck out for a spin and grab new pictures.

The first person to post a picture of the required quest gets to name a new object for the next round. If nobody succeeds to post a new picture, the winner of the previous round must submit a new object or location for the quest.

Let's start: Your Truck next to a railroad track.

    ________________________________________________

Here are some recently adopted "rules" to keep this game moving quickly which are added at the request of agrestik. Sorry, but there is a bit of duplication:

Every target for the Squarebody Photo Gallery must include a Squarebody, in whole or in part.

Your entry does not count as a winner unless you post the next target pix in the same posting. The target will remain open for any other member to post both a winning pix and the next target.

When the next target has been posted, you take a picture OF YOUR SQUAREBODY, with the item in the shot. This cannot be a pic you already had on your drive, it is a pic you got off your butt and took while the game is in progress. This may be tough but it was said we could be creative. Also posting a pic of your truck that does not have the "item" is fine to look at but detracts from the game.

Please try to keep the "clowning around" down to a reasonable level so the rest of the membership can play.

Lets go over the "rules" as they were given to us:
#1 photos are new that you went out and took, not a pic that you had on your computer already.

#2 Photo must be uploaded and hosted on GMSB using the Upload A File button, or Add Photo button. This will keep the pics from becoming dead links and destroying the thread later on as people change photo hosting sites like Flicker or PhotoFuket.

#3 The poster that comes up with the required item gets to pick the new item. If no one can come up with that item, the one that picked it can change the item in order to keep the game going. Have fun!

#4 If the pic rule set by the previous poster has not been completed with in 72 hours (3 days), the pic rule MUST be changed by the previous winner or Moderator. This means if you pick a ridiculous rule that noone was able to complete within 3 days, you don't get to pick another rule.

yeah well, that's how they started their game. All the yellow text is theirs and I just copied it, but sure, we can do that. Then who ever posts up that pic first gets to choose the next pic to be posted. So your post protocol for entry would be to:

Text : Pic of Squarebody with Railrod Track

    Your Photo

Text: The rule you choose for the next pic.

:roflbow: On their game, the guy had his Car across the railroad tracks with a train coming at it with the big light on and no driver in the car. Of course he won. That is when they added the rules for safety. Imagine that !!! :roflbow:

Actually wasn't my idea, I just stole it from them who stole it from someone who stole it from someone who stole it from another forum. So it must be a common game. I can't wait to win, so I can make a rule like they did, A pic of your truck with a Goat in your truck. Either in the bed or in the cab. :roflbow::roflbow::roflbow: Of course that not being reasonable, he did change to rule to something else. One guy did pull up to a fence with a goat and at the angle kinda looked like he had a goat in the bed of it, but idiot forgot to remove his toneau cover, so it was obvious a fake pic. :roflbow::roflbow::roflbow:

Just remember, its supposed to be a fresh pic, Not one you already have on your hard drive or previously taken. The idea is to get members up and go for a drive and take a new pic of their truck. :grd:

I'm thinking about something to eat about now, and might just swing by the new firestation, or the old one depending on which way I go. We have 4 fire depts in our city. Well, 3 now. 1 and the old police station been torn down and a new Police and Firestation being built right smack in the middle of Old Downtown.

My pic kinda sux cuz it was to damn dark. I was hoping the lights would light it up better for the cam. You can see the flag pole though, and one of the 3 big overhead doors. This is our new fire station that's been operating for about 3 months now.
