I didn't realize we had a photoshop forum until just now.

Can anybody paint the decklid of my GTO black?

The decklid itself and up around the rear window.

    Thanks in advance -

    K

Oldsmobile beat you to it. Gives you a basic idea.

8500E146-4A16-4DCB-8E7A-932033674E73.jpeg Oldsmobile got the idea from our '68 GTO.

I think they made three like that: our silver one, a red one, and a white one.

George Hurst was a friend of my Dad's. He saw our GTO and liked it so he went to Pontiac and pitched doing it in production.

    Pontiac said no.

He went to Oldsmobile, and Oldsmobile said yes.

    True story.

Unfortunately I don't have a good artsy photo of the car, so I though I might photoshop one.

My friend totaled his '68 442 in high school (mid '80's) and replaced it with this '68 H/O. He still has it today. I drove that thing once when I was 17. After that I always used my seat belt.
