Logic

IF HL ON
THEN POWER TO FOOT SWITCH
IF POWER TO FOOT SWITCH
THEN ACTIVATE RELAY1
IF RELAY1 ACTIVE
THEN POWER TO HI BEAM
ELSE POWER TO LO BEAM

Foot switch is not powered unless headlights are on. AS IS Now. FS is SPDT with no off position.. Current plug will be disconnected. One lead will now go to activate relay1, the other position will be null, in essence making it an SPST on/off switch.

Relay1 is SPDT with no off position. In an inactivated position it supplies power to LO BEAM. When switched on, supplies power to HI BEAM.

Comments???

DRL, HL Buzzer, seatbelt buzzer, idiot light, and security starter disable circuits to follow. If logic on this one seems sound I will provide wiring diagram.

AGAIN. Comments, please.

Relay just switches single power supply between two contacts. In off position one of contacts gets power, and in on position switches to second contact getting power. So if you use the hole set up as driving lights type the headlight switch just activates high beam.

Or I am not following you correctly

Found different flaw in my logic. Can't be done the way I suggested.

I'll try again.
