Round eye parts almost all gathered now. Supposed to pick up a used OEM hood on Sunday. The last big thing after that is bumper and I believe the windshield wiper assembly is different for a 73-80 truck, too, so I’ll have to get that. We’re getting pretty close to show time!! :)

I’m other news, I believe the fuel pump in my driver side tank is getting weak so I’ve ordered new pumps for each tank and for good measure I ordered a new selector valve, too, just to freshen it all up. I’ve already got a fuel filter ready to install.

The unfortunate thing is, since you are piecing together the front clip, you are going to find that you don't have everything when you go to put it all on. There's a lot of parts to change, lol.

    I know :( #facepalm :roflbow:

I’m ordering a bolt kit soon. My thought is if I can get as much as I know to get and get the clip on. I can circle back around to the little things once I know what I’ve missed and not have my truck sit in my driveway sans front clip LOL

and as I type this I remember I still need inner fender wells, too :D I also have my 77 to reference if I get too stumped

You know the wiper arm studs an linkage are different to right?

I have a 73 parts truck that still has most of the front end if you need anything else.

Yes. I mentioned the wiper arms a couple of posts up :)

Now that you've mentioned your parts truck, let me put a list together of things that I know I still need and I'll hit you up to see what you got and we'll see if we can make a deal on a few odds and ends :) Thanks, man.

Sounds good man. I was referencing the parts for the wipers under the cowl not just the arms the blades attach too.

Maybe I’ll just go wiperless :roflbow:

before I start going all out and ripping panels off I’ll hit ya up and see what little things I may be missing such as the wiper assembly and we’ll see how much of that you may be able to help me with that wouldn’t be too bad to ship :)

Dually rolled over 75k today. Time to send her to the crusher

Hood got picked up today. Needs a small amount of work but the price was right and she’s OEM

    Love the Saddleman covers.

Have you looked into the rebuild cover kits from LMC? Or have custom Neoprene covers made? You do have children, and children spill.....

No, I haven’t looked into any of those yet. I wanted the saddle blanket covers so that’s all I focused on at this point :) my original seat covers in are pretty good shape but I’ve loved the saddle blanket seat covers since I was a kid riding in my Grandpa’s 79 :)
