I picked up a new toy today a 1980 sullair 185 air compressor.

its a industrial air compressor it has a gm 181 4 cylinder gas engine

it needs a starter and the carb rebuilt but its suppose to be a good working compressor.

I wanted it so I can sand blast my own truck frames and not have to farm it out.

now I need to find a big sanblaster pressure pot

the one pictured is not mine but looks just like it

my crew kinda stalled but hoping to get some stuff done to it soon. I have project adhd or some **** like that I get bored and get side tracked with new ideas. I am working on cleaning house getting rid of some of the crazy ideas I came up with and started building. but the economy is **** and no one is buying projects.

but I have a couple projects going right now a 1981 chevy rollback wrecker and want to do a fast rebuild on one of my other wreckers as well this summer. and a dodge for a friend that passed away. the dodge is about half way done almost to the body work on it.

the rollback is a huge project but I am collecting parts for it fast. almost have the cab body work done have a rebuilt 454 for it. need to get a nv4500 for it. then when the weather breaks and the snow melts blow it apart sand blast/paint the frame and bed frame work and put it all back together.

that's why I bought this air compressor and looking for a decent sandblaster.
I have a small one but it will be a pain in the ass to do that much with.

I have been selling off a few projects to fund my more important builds.

if anyone is looking I have a sweet T.B.I. v8 s10 blazer for sale going on ebay soon.

can't really see it in the picture but that is my crew cab buried under a bunch of parts mostly parts for it.
