Running into a slight problem, ordering this oil filter adapter/mount and it’s saying it’s not for 4x4, but I can’t find one specifically for a 4x4. I’ll admit that I cant remember how it was when I took it out, I had removed the filter only and then pulled motor and sent it off, it came back without one due to the old one needing replaced.

That's the correct one, if you don't have an external oil cooler.

thank you! Went ahead and got it, installing today. So if I had an oil cooler it would need additional stuff? Good to know

Yeah, if there was an oil cooler, the hoses would screw into a 'sandwich' adapter that would take place of the regular oil filter mount.
