Does anybody know the correct part number for the oem 8 lug center caps that fit the 99 and up 2500 and 3500 trucks? I’m trying to find a set to go on my H2 rims. I bought a set but they don’t fit; the total diameter of the caps is slightly too large to fit down in the opening over the hub. The ones I bought are part# 15006332 pictured below. I’be been looking at them on ebay and they all look the same and some say they fit only steel wheels.

The ones for aluminum wheels are a slightly smaller diameter. They can be identified by the shape around the lug nuts. The smaller caps have humps around the lugs while the caps for steel wheels are perfectly round.

I never realized there was a difference until a member here pointed it out a while back.

That’s what I was noticing in pictures of the caps installed on trucks in pictures I’ve been looking at; however it’s very hard to tell when looking at just the caps for some reason.

Like these?

I can pull one off and see if there is a number on the back side.

yep, found the correct size ones. I just need to find 2 of the black plastic caps that screw onto the lugnuts now, as one of my caps is missing 2. I also need to cut out center of 2 of them so they fit over front lock-outs. Wish they weren't chrome, but that's all I could find.
