Nv3500 to older sbc

Ok here goes, I am building a 85 k10, I have a nv3500 out of a 2001 1500 and am mating it to a 1977 350sbc. Bell housing bolts up fine but I need help with the clutch/flywheel setup I need. The trans came with a new clutch but I’m lacking a flywheel, if I can use the clutch from the 2001 I will but if I need to buy a new setup all is good. Squarebody passion is not cheap but so worth it!!!!! Been looking/asking for advice in my circle but not gettin clear answers. Any help is appreciated thanx

The NV3500 was used behind the older small blocks as well. I think you only need the flywheel for the 2-piece small block crank and you should be good to go.

@bluex runs one in his truck. But I don't remember what year the trans is.

Use the flywheel to match your engine. The clutch disc an pressure plate needs to match the trans.
