I wondered about replacing one if one got damaged, then the seller told me he had an extra for it. So.i ended up with all 4 plus a spare.

I've never understood that. Used to see it all the time when I worked at the dealer.

Stealership: "your low mileage 15 year old vehicle that you own outright leaks oil and needs a set of tires. That'll cost $3000 (dealer price)"
Customer: "my word the vehicle isn't even worth that much at this point I can't afford that! Whatever will I do?"
Stealership: "I have a good idea. May we interest you in a test drive? It only costs 35 grand, AND it connects to your cell phone."
Customer: "Sold! Thank god I saved all that money"
Me sitting behind the parts counter: "Are you high? Looks like you're 32 grand (plus interest) deeper in the hole..."

Cool K5! I agree with the others, the wheels and woodgrain are very nice features.

At first I was thinking Jackman, but they have straight spokes. Pulling out of my memories some old wheel names come to mind, Progressive, Appliance or Western.

Then I'd run with that set... Oh, and woodgrain as well !

Yeah, the Jackman wheels had straight spokes in steel and aluminum too. I don't recall seeing the wheels in question before.

Well I'll be damned! I was just watching one of the latest Roadkill Extra shows and Steve Dulcich was showing off his '70 Cuda. It has the same wheels... they are Dan Gurney wheels! Mystery solved!

Those are regular ol "wagon wheels". Notice the spokes are flat, no outward curvature. And painted steel, rather than machined aluminuminum.

Great K5 and great wheels. I always wanted a full convertible, it's still on my list. Looks like a lot of work but imho it's worth it.

Those tires are old... but man I wanted a set of them when they came out. Mickey Thompson tires with sidebiters! That was what they called the sidewall tread. Now everything has them. Those tires came in some very very wide sizes back then also.

    Very cool.

Awesome find. Wheels are great, you could take them and have them powder coated to match the Blazer color when ever you decide what color. They make a wood grain Vinyl Wrap in different grains and colors.

Good to know what the wheels are. Yea, I think those tires are 31x13
    5. I always liked the wide tires too.
