High speed blower has been working off and on but finally quit on me. Low and med still work. Been research in this on the web and noticed I can't find a high speed relay.

Truck is orig non ac 1989 suburban V2500. At some point someone had installed aftermarket ac which I removed. So wiring on this thing is all dicked up and doesn't look anything like orig.

The plug from back of switch leads to a block of what looks like 3 relays that were mounted under the dash. I want to remove all non essential wiring bs and get the high speed blower working.

Checked fuses and all look good. Other than that I'm lost. Gonna try to post up pics maybe someone on here can direct me where to start with this mess...

Well it had a fried wire behind the dash.....its running 3 relays...one for each blower speed....and the high speed line is running through the regulator then into the blower motor....

I replaced the bad burnt wire and now I got a 3 speeds working......hope it don't keep fryin wires though cuz its running the high speed through that small orange wire....

I would think I should have blown a fuse first

I thought the stock setup was the high speed wire runs from the relay straight to the motor for straight 12v power.....I'd like to hook it back up that way if I could figure that out

And the diagram specific to your model year - it's identical to the stuff above:
