New tires

I'm putting a 4 inch lift on my truck and I'm sticking with the stock rims and the tires on it are 32x11.5/R15 and I can't find 35x11.5/r15 does anyone know if 35x12.5/R15 will work?

I don't think 12.5s will fit stock wide rims

I think they will fit on 10's but nothing smaller. Don't take my word for it though. Measure your wheel and look at the specs on the tires your ordering. The 33x12.50s I just bought said they would fit like 9" to 11" wheels and I put them on 12" wheels and they still fit.

If they're factory rally wheels, then they should be 8" wide.

I ran some 33x12.50r15's on another set of 8" wide wheels for a couple months with no problems. Didn't run them long enough to tell if they wore funny or anything.

Shouldn't have any problems getting the beads to seat lol. My 12.50s on 12s were a pain to get seated.

stock rallys are only like 8 inch wide at best, and yes 12.5's fit fine we ran 33x12.50's on ours and I've seen in person local truck run 35's on them as well.

I've got a set of 315/75-16's which is metric 35 12.50's on some 7 inch rims right now, and had 285/75's on 7 inch rims for quite some time

I've run 33x12.50s for a while on my old 15x8 rally wheels. They worked fine- but will have watch the air pressure as if you put too high of pressure in them it will wear out the middle of the tire.

Yes, but when you angle the sidewalls inward on a narrow wheel it can flex the tread and cause the middle to bow outward. In order to make the tread ride completely flat then you have to run a very low pressure.

How to check? Mark a line in chalk all the way across the tread and drive in a straight line on dry pavement. Watch for where the chalk wears off first.

OR make a puddle in front of your tire on dry pavement. Then drive straight forward for a bit. Get out and look at your tire track. I did that to a friend that has 35x12.50s and 7" wheels and he was only riding on the middle 5" of tread.

yea already knew that, wide tires, skiny rims and too much air. be like my neighbors car, cobalt, my car is pulling, I need to check air pressure, three tires around 30-32 psi, drivers front 90. LOL.

A 35x12.5 tire actually works very well on an 8 inch wide rim, better than a 10 inch really.

A 35x15.5 actually works on an 8 inch rim too, just don't expect good tread life.
