The yellow in the trim is a 1977 thing. Every '77 truck with side trim had the mustard yellow insert. Same goes for wheelwell moldings. The only other trucks with the yellow insert were the '75 GMC Gentleman Jim.

The pic of the suburban is at my dads place. I’m not there yet for man cave of that size. One day fingers crossed.

I know bumpers are just as personal a choice as wheels, but I always thought the early '81-'82 bumpers with the lights in them look great on K5's and 4WD Burbs. LMC sells them as a conversion kit. Someone on the forum had a photo of their truck with this bumper installed, but I can't recall who.
