Hello everyone!

My names Nathan and yesterday I became a square body owner. I’m still trying to fully figure out what I purchased so I don’t know everything about the truck yet.

What I do know is it’s a 1973 C30 Crew Cab Dually. It originally had a 454 which is completely torn apart and in the bed and doesn’t look to be in good shape. The trans is a th400 and is also in the bed. The truck came with a gearvendors sitting in a box in the cab. According to the tag on the drivers inner fender it was originally two toned with Acnathus blue but has been repainted white.

The rear bumper is a pull out bumper which I have never seen and not sure if I will keep. It’s in great shape pulls out and locks easily. It’s neat but I’m not sure I will keep.

It came with a 5th wheel hitch which I don’t plan to keep.

The interior is dirty but is complete and is actually in great shape. The rear seat looks like it’s never been sat on. The front seats are rotating captains chairs. I think I would rather go with a bench but still neat.

Here’s some pictures and I will post more as I find things out.

Nice ride, welcome aboard. 73 is smog exempt in Cali right? I'm sure they cringe everytime one gets registered.

Looks like a good start! I want to see this pull out bumper dont think ive ever heard of it.

Here’s a few pictures of the bumper. It pulls out a full 3ft from the back of the bed. The pictures are fully closed, fully pulled out, and the locking mechanism.

You can ever so slightly make out the word “Stealhead” on the right hand side. It’s on a sticker that has been painted over.

That is something! Lol! Maybe it was if you were gonna put something long in the bed and that supported it? Wonder what the hitch is rated for way out there!

Edit: Google says it was for long truck bed camper.
