New to the forum and new owner of this '90 V1500. Everything underneath is stock. I would really appreciate some advice on suspension kits/components...based on what i'll be using it for:

Looking to level and lift somewhere between 2" - 4" (don't know what is ideal for look or stability).
Re-gearing is not at the top of my list right now, so i'll probably stick with 33x12.5s.
This will be my DD for the 8 mile round-trip to and from the office, and occasionally to the lake or hunting camp.
I don't need major off-roading capability, but certainly enough to drive through some mud 'puddles' and dirt roads when needed.
Want a strong look without overdoing it, and smooth ride on the highway.

Thanks in advance!

my 1990 burb came to me with a reported 3in lift. unsure if it is 3in or 2.5in. rocking 33x10.5 on the OEM aluminum 15x7 rims. i have 3.73 gears and that seems ok. that strikes a nice balance of road manners and offroad ability for my needs.

make sure you update the DRAC for any tire size changes. if the speed signal to the ECM is off, it messes with TCC lockup and some other things.

2-4 inch lift. Most likely 2-3, 33's will be ok with 3.73's, itll lack a little on the highway but it's not too bad at all. Easily livable.

The tuff country easy rides would probably be right up your alley.
