Hello ,thanks to anyone in advance I bought a used transmission and it seems different than the old one, both are 700r4 4x4 transmissions, I thought they were all interchangable, but I don't think this will without changing internal parts, which in that case I should rebuild since it's apart anyway, so please help me identify what the used trans might fit so I can sell it, thanks again , picture attached ,new trans is on left, trans from my 1982 k-10 is on right

Looks like 1 is 2wd the other 4 wd take them both apart, you won't have to disassemble clutch packs or anything. Swap output shafts.

Left looks like 2wd & right is 4wd. Left one looks to have had a spacer adapter to 4wd as well.

The one on the left confuses me. I agree it looks like a 2wd output length, but the 2wd's were all slip yoke and should have longer splines?

Looks to be a conversion shaft too 4x but left the adaptor on the T case.

If it's rebuilt, I'd just swap tail shafts or buy a new one and swap it and then rebuild the old one for a spare.
