My 84 has that hole in the crossmember, they had oil cooler lines ran through it. I'm not sure if my 79 has that hole but it doesn't have an oil cooler, but that wouldnt have dictated whether or not the hole was there or not.

The frame horns look to be 73-80
See if the partial vin is still on the right frame rail.

78 k10

80s they began to put more holes or weight reduction into those members but you have in your eyes a 73-80 frame with recovery hooks

This is a 1976 frame thats a trailer now. to help you find your frame vin, THIS vin is where the frame meets at the A to make a tongue. Either that or Im remembering wrong and it was before the bed, but the pic looks like where it meets im pretty sure.

Driver side I think.

On my '85 the engine oil cooler lines go through those holes.

As stated, that’s a 73-80 frame based on the frame horns.

All of the square body front springs are the same. The only difference will be the rear spring length (52” or 56”) and the ubolt hardware based on what axle you have.

Check your rear spring length, identify what axles you have and use that info to order the kit. For example;

If you have 52” rear springs and a 10 bolt rear axle, order a kit for a ‘78 K10.

The hole in the crossmember isn’t relevant to a lift kit.
