I got a 93 nv4500 and a round pattern long input gear 205.

I bought the advance adapters bell housing and spacer for the t case

my 205 was a slip yoke I spent the afternoon swapping the bolt on yoke from a parts 205 I have to replace the slip yoke.

the guy I got the truck from told me it grinds a little going into third probably a bad sincro so I am looking at rebuilding the nv4500 now

I found a master rebuild kit on ebay for 180 bucks

I plan to put this combo and the tbi 350 from the 93 in a 82 1 ton 4x4 that I have with a 10 foot flat bed. I plan to use it as a all around hauler and work truck.

got the parts today from AA come to find out the bell housing does not have the hole cast into it for the pivot ball for the z bar. so I need to either make a bracket or just order the one they make.

once again to make this swap easy and fast I will probably just order the one they make

and probably get the bracket from them for the t case shifter

What type of transfer case shifter are you going to use?

The aa part number is 715529 uses the stock shifter. If you use the spacer you have to length your shifter arm by 2 1/4 inches, according to the guy at AA. Its about 45 bucks from summit racing.

I ordered my bell housing and adapter ring from summit I wish I would of done more research before ordering them. I would of ordered the pivot ball bracket and shifter bracket at the same time.

I ordered just ordered those brackets from summit and to get over 99 bucks for free shipping I also got some energy suspension motor mounts.

I already had a energy suspension tranny mount that will work for the nv4500

Im using stock hydro clutch on my swap, I shouldn't need anything to mount my slave cylinder. Right?

what parts are you using for your hyd clutch.
if you use the aa bell housing they have a bracket to use the stock 85 slave
http://www.advanceadapters.com/prod...se-with-advance-adapters-nv4500-bellhousings/

I put a 94 nv4500 in my 85 with a 208 and a hyd. clutch

I used the 94 bell housing, master and slave

I had to slot the mounting holes on the master to bolt it to the 85 hyd master position then I had to make the rod to connect it to the pedal

and if you use a the factory nv4500 bell housing with the pass side slave your truck should have a lift on it or the drive shaft will hit the slave

no nv4500 had a driver side slave

and the square body bell housing will not work with he nv4500

you can use the factory nv4500 bell housing or use the aa bell housing

If I use the factory nv4500 bell housing the front drive shaft will hit the slave cylinder right? How much lift is required to get enough clearance?

My truck has 8"springs but there's at least a foot of clearance with the driveshaft to slave.
