    Ya. 134.
$19.88 per weekend isnt a very "cool" deal buy what can ya do?

Gary and I are planning to rescue Babe the Blue Ox, maybe tomorrow?
That is something I can do.
Keeping gas in the tank may boost morale some ya reckon?

    Gas is kind of important...

    LOL

I top off daily. A habit (obsession ? ) I got into when gas prices started going up daily circa 04 or so and I have kept at it since.

Good for hurricane season, too - keep em all full.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttt - Goldie could go almost 400 miles on a single tank !

    Lol?
Bonnie requires one gallon of gasoline to run the heater for two hours but I don't have any figures on running the AC yet..?look, im workin on it.:blah:

Dude I make efforts to not go to the store daily..:33:

    But dude.
I really did drop off the zero rates with the truck today.

I picked up Bonnie Blazer from the transmission shop tonight with the stand-in radiator and proper finned cast pan installed.
Told em it was huntin for third, please advise.

They wouldn't install the zero rates but! much to my surprise, when I got in and turned the AC on, it was blowin cold.
AND THEN I got home and the magical third vent had arrived.

For your viewing pleasure @AuroraGirl , attached is a photo of the old brass radiator from my 1988 Blazer.
It's "Destiny" is to be rebuilt @ ACME Radiator.

    Dang.
I havent been posting in here..but hey.

I been screwin around with Bonnie Blazer gettin her ready to go back to MasterTech Automotive. I've got all four vents goin and even got the floor vent which helps a ton!
Been doin my part! ...with the parts especially lol. ;)

    IMG_20200727_172640.jpg

The resistor part # changed from 87-88.
88-91 specific fyi the connector is different.

Remember while back when you thought I was screwin around and the hi speed cut off and shit? Still fixin on the AC.

Ok. So I was lookin into that deal and found some thing called a cutoff relay ....lookit mine haha.

Got hot enough to torch a spot in the connector.

    Screenshot_20200727-215554.png

Gonna change all the parts right here for new ones, this cutoff relay is the first to go.

    little pucky for the plug...

Got a blower motor and resistor inbound, got the passenger door put back together and everthing...puttin lots of parts on and in. Tryin to clean as I go. :buffer: Need to get that accumulator switch too. Whatever you call it. Safety first kids!.

Ill get all the parts changed out and make certain everything AC works correctly then take it back to let ol boy put his compressor in. :)

    Thanks!
I changed the relay and it killed the resistor so now the blower doesnt work at all, the compressor clutch only engages.

Got the damn thing in the mail already, somewhere between here and Kansas...I sat out most of the day after spending some time looking at the C20 parts in my bedroom.

You know where those parts deserve to be...

And, while I enjoy ac as much as the next man, I find myself running with the window down maybe 70 % of the time in Goldie.

    Just saying ...

    :)

    LoL
I work out of this Blazer all weekend. AC isn't an option haha. I'm all about new parts - glad its so cheap and easy to work on and I really am havin a good time.;) Hopefully it'll fix alright tomorrow.

Earlier today I mostly played with the blue truck..
    Found the four bumper brackets
    And the bumper
    And the pushbar
    And the pushbar bolts
    For the C20..
    Ugch 24 bumper bolts? :(

    IMG_20200725_142305_1CS.jpg

Yesterday I went to the hardware store and put six bolts in the top of the Blazer across the ceiling-it still needs 8 around the bed.?
A bunch! I put 6 in it LONG ones- two inches long? _ I guess it needs 6 more one inchers.
Pretty crazy observing the ambient differences in the interior while tightening the top , i'll tell ya what.

    150px-Hank_Hill.png

Ive got a new seal from A1 and would have kept messin around today but it rained lol..
    Figures.

Didn't get much finished this weekend and still managed to start new ish.Really tryin not to get distracted by the Babe Ox but damn. Its hard to not spend money..:p at least its only bolts...but thats not good ?
    Needin all them bolts? o_O
Screws and stuff too? A bunch indeed! LoL it's a lot more put together now than it was. The whole truck, not just the top lol

    Anybody know Bolt Thrower? :rocking:
    Speaking of = World.Eater.
    Like my old trucks.

That relay is a trick! I read on the innernets about dudes 'resetting " it by disconnecting the battery and didnt think much of it because I had already planned to fashion my remote starter wires and :grd:
Fan worked fine on the button a couple of times until it didnt.
How the eff? Hooked to the battery and fan wont spin.....

Ahh. Trick assed relay done switched the ground. Very clever. After that everything is fine.
    Kinda fun.

New blower oughta be here today.
