I am currently online window shopping for mud tires for my 1987 Chevrolet Silverado K/10. Read good reviews about Nitto Mud Grappler Tires. Is it worth the price?

I have been less than impressed with the Nitto AT's on the company work trucks, but have never been around their MT version. I've always went with other brands on my personal trucks.

They’re a very ugly tire in my opinion. Never had any but I do know they’re loud as hell, every time I see them goin down the road they’re always almost bald. It just doesn’t look like a good mud tire to me, looks and functionality wise.

The newer ones don’t look as bad as the old version. But that old version was just plain stupid and hideous if you ask me. Every video I’ve seen of the old ones they’re plugged up and turned into slicks basically

How many miles are people getting out of those? I looked at them briefly but ended up buying mastercrafts for my truck.

Doesn't have the big corner knobbies juting out so this is a good tire for fender clearance.

I looked at them for a bit. They are made by Nankang tires from Taiwan and have been around since 1959.

I've run Nankang trailer tires and didn't have any issues anyway.
