OK I got all the things I needed to start powder coating. Buddy hooked me up with a oven, I had to try it out....I had the main bracket for the steering stabilizer clean and ready to be coated. I'm very happy with it[IMG]

My BB engine cradle came today, the build will be coming soon...

I'm looking at buying those headers you bought. I just put new front springs on my truck and the shackle is on the header.

I've been thinking about putting the headers on the motor, and setting it in place just to see how well they fit for everyone that is looking at getting a set.

Funny thing today, I've been cleaning up my shop the last couple days. Just doing little crap that I always put on the back burner. I have decided to buy all new pulleys for the serpentine system I got for it awhile back when I visited Austin and hung out with a few of the members here. I've check a few web sites just getting prices, and checking availability. I called a few auto parts places, and as usual you get the kids that have to know the life story of the vehicle just to get a water pump. Called my local Chevy dealer just for shits and grins. Water pump=360.85, water pump pulley=97.41. I had a good laugh. Just to let y'all know Rock Auto has a life time water pump 46.00, and the pulley 15.00. I can get everything I need (Water pump, WP pulley, Crank Pulley, Power Steering pump, PS pulley, and A/C pump) from Rock Auto cheaper then the water pump, and pulley from GM. Where in the hell do dealerships get off charging that much?

They figure some folks won't ask. A couple of years ago I got a recall on the trailblazer. Took it to the local dealership to get repaired. They called and said hey you got a misfire on a coil. You want us to replace it while its here?? I said sure... How much for the 1 coil pack installed? $360 they said. HELL NO. Went to Oriely's and bought a lifetime coil pack for $59. Took about 20 minutes to install. If its not warrenty work I cant afford a dealer

Yeah, it's not enough you paid way more than a new car is worth, than they try to screw you more to fix the little shit.

I'd be really interested to see how those headers look and see the clearances.

nice test stand! I'm almost done mounting the 5.3 to it. Had to modify the holes a bit but works with Dirty dingo mounts flipped around.
