I got a mcgaughys lowering kit but they didn’t come with shocks and now I’m stuck and don’t know what to get for my truck

Just run stock shocks with that 2/4 drop. I like kyb gr2s they ride good an wont break the bank. 344068 front an 344072 rear.

You can still use the shocks I posted then, just use a shock extender bracket on the rear as well.

Is it 4.5" spring drop or mix of spring and spindle?

I did 4.5" with a 2" spring and 2.5" spindle and used KYB shocks of stock length. I bought the front shock extenders but with them installed the shocks were too short (and these were supposed to be factory length).
I have a set of front shock extenders if you're looking at buying a set. I bolted them on and took them off about 15 minutes later - never even moved the truck with them installed.
