Got a couple of questions and since it's a '72 you can tell me to pound sand, hope not though.

The truck is in good shape, no body damage and paint is probably 8/10.
1972 Chevrolet C10
TH350
400 sbc aluminum heads/intake
Quick Fuel Carb
9 inch rear end
4 wheel power disc brakes
Power steering
Boyd Wheels new tires on rear (probably due to the 400)

The down side, it does not have heat/ac and it is a Short Bed Conversion.
Really what I'm wondering is, what's a fair price? I know to get the a/c going will be $1500-$2000. I'm not as worried about the conversion because I don't want it as a show/full resto truck but as a truck to have fun in/with. But I do know that both will impact its sale price.

So any info you guys could help me with would be appreciated!!

Sounds like a lot of work was done on it, just curious if it is coils or leaf in the rear. Average price of that body style here in project form is at least $4k, haven't seen a short box in a long time though, last short box I had was a 71 C10 back in '93, so no clue what one would run now.

I'd be very leary buying a truck that has been that modified. I would find one in original condition. I love the Action Line trucks, 67-72. JMO.

Any pics of the truck to give us an idea of the shape it's in both cosmetically, as well as, where the fabrication work has been done to get it to this stage? If it's a hacked up mess then run away quickly. If the fab work is quality then we can continue the discussion.

oh, and get the hell out of here with your non-square project discussions!!!! @animal hates anything but squares!!! kidding lol

Here are a few pics. I don't have any of the fame work but will ask.
I can't get the video to upload of it running but it sounds good.
I have not been to look at it in person because it is about 3 hours away and wanted to get some ideas about how much it was worth. FYI, he is asking way more than it is worth - $11
Few more pics in the next post...

Damn, I have shop envy.

I always wonder why people put a paint job and interior before the undercarriage is totally squared away. I assume they value looks over mechanicals.

Unmodified 67-72s that look that nice on the exterior are worth more than that asking price all day long in my area.

That being said, it is a beautiful truck. Things that would reduce the value to me include: ruining the bed with a fuel cell, modifying the body by removing the original filler neck, hvac delete, Ford rear end, aftermarket shifter, aftermarket column and non original style interior. At least he didn’t do the drip rail delete. That kills me.

These are personal preferences of mine, but it’s still a great looking truck.

Not a lot of suspension travel in the back, frame looks stock, don't see a C notch. Sounds decent, I would probably go no higher than $7.5k...just my opinion.

Up here in rust country, I’d expect that to be listed no less than mid to high teens, maybe low $20s if the seller was really ambitious. $10k or less in this neck of the woods would be a steal.
Looks like kind of a fluff and buff, but that could be ok if the price is right. Depends how much it’s going to take to make the rest of the truck match the fresh exterior.

From the pics, looks reasonably clean with some room to get it to the "next level". If it was me, I'd look at what my goals were for the truck and what it'd take to build what I want and how close this truck gets you there. Obviously, you'll want to look it over REALLY good in person to asses the true condition of it but seems like and overall clean truck with room for more improvements. :)

A '72 oughta be coil springs on a 12 bolt.
Maybe has a torque arm too.

*edit*

Oh. There's pix now.

I wouldn't buy that truck with YOUR money.
*pass* over that rattle-trap piece of **** and thank me later.
