Wanting to try a 2 bbl on the 75 welding truck. We ain't in no hurry in it, 50 mph bout as fast as we ever go, and it weighs around 7000 pounds so torgue is good.
Other one for my roundy round car.
Dual plane intakes would be nice to have as well.

Thanks

Shakey

Oh, everything is a small block Chevy

I have a 2bbl Rochester 2 jet and a cast iron dual plane 2 barrel intake manifold that were together on my 283.
I took the whole carb apart and cleaned it and put it back together. Needs gaskets. I make my own usually, but I never got around to it. Never had it on a running engine myself, but I see no reason why it wouldn't.
And I'd be happy to sell the intake, but its gonna be a bitch to ship, that thing is very heavy.
Lemme know if your interested, I can go unbury them and take some pics.

I'm sure interested. Where in New Mexico are you? I'm 22 miles from the state on I 40.

I looked online, I've seen the carb from 50$ to 200$, and ive seen that type of intake from 50$ to 150$.
I'll shoot for the bottom of that range, maybe 50 bucks for each?

I also have a 2 barrel air cleaner that goes to that carb if you want it. Maybe 20$.

They're all from a '57 283 from a Corvette.

Before we settle on any price, I'll make sure to get you some pics and make sure they're still in good condition.

No problem, I'd be glad to.
I wont be getting home until Saturday morning, I'm out on a job, but that'll be the first thing I do when I get back.

If there's any other parts you need, let me know. I have all sorts of stuff.

Sorry, Saturday morning turned into Saturday afternoon, and I had a crap ton of stuff to do yesterday.
Finally dug them out and took some pics:

I pressure washed them, and took a razor blade to gasket surfaces to make sure that wasn't any old gasket left.
Found a peice of linkage that goes to that carb, and the bolts for the intake.
I had forgotten that when I took it off, one of the bolts for the carb was broken off. Theres enough stud left that with a little penetrating oil or some heat and a pair of snap ons, itll come out.

And here's the carburetor.
When I had cleaned it, all the linkage moved real easy, but after a couple months in my shed, it's gotten a little stiff.
Needs to be rebuilt. A rebuild kit I'd like only 20 bucks, a new carb like that is like 300.
Also got the 2 air cleaners I have. Both are for 2 barrels. The bigger one is off a chevy, the other is the one that was on it when I got it. Little one is free if you want it.

That one broken bolt really doesn't even need dealt with. At some point in the early 70's, GM deleted two of the bolt holes in the manifold anyway.

Haha. Yeah, you could just bolt it down with the 3, and itd be fine. Some RTV wouldn't hurt either if you wanted to be sure.

I have one from a 307. It's disassembled but all the parts are there with a rebuild kit. You can have it, just cover shipping.
