Short and fat! Have lots of trouble getting into my '81 K20 and when the correct tires are on it will be 1" taller. By the interior pic the previous owner had the same problem!!
Are there any side steps for this rig?

You’ve got side steps, running boards, and nerf bars. The running boards seem to have fallen by the wayside in terms of availability and popularity, and I think the nerf bars preserve the looks better, but that’s just my opinion. The steps are much cheaper.

You can only mount the steps if you have solid inner and outer rockers though.

I can offer a very easy fix for your problem, just ship that truck down to me and your problem is solved.

I’d love to buy them from Amazon but they won’t ship them to Alaska. Amazon hates Alaskans.

It's hard to understand what their problem with the USPS is. "If it fits, it ships." Fargin' Bastages!

Do they make those small steps that would bolt to the frame? Or would that have to be a home fab? Doesn't seem like they'd be too hard to make.

If you want to purchase from Amazon, place order, try shipping to someone in the lower 48, if you know someone that will ship them to you, then they can ship to you. Would cost a little more for shipping but you could still get them. Not sure if that will work, but worth a try if you really want them from Amazon.

Dammit, why can everyone else find these manual transmission K20s???

I expect I'll be having a problem getting in mine due to back problems. My intent is build some type of rock sliders and have them double as a step.

Those single steps just scare me as something that will get snagged while out wheeling and get ripped out of the sheetmetal or damage the rocker.
