Got lucky and ran across this gem a few days ago.

77 C30 Scottsdale dually with a 454 and a muncie (granny gear) manual, power windows, and a fairly clean cab. Settled on a great price and went back to get my trailer and load her up. Now to figure out what to do with it. Initial thought is to just clean it up and tune it and maybe sell it for more funds on my GMC K25 restoration, but who knows...?[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

That's an interesting truck. The drivetrain is cool, then there's the fact it still has the side trim. The power windows are uncommon for the year, especially on a Scottsdale. Then there's the very uncommon orange interior to boot. Really cool!

And that interior looks to be in great condition too. @bucket Did chevy consider that orange or did it have a fancier name.

The cast aluminum toe steps in the bed sides are pretty different.

Back when they let you check the boxes as you see fit instead of tacking on a package.

Maybe I want a bench seat, floor shift 4wd, a sunroof, color matched bumpers and no additional mandated technology! You hear me, Ram!?

I'm probably wrong, but... IIRC PW weren't available until 1978. OK blast away. I think the PO installed the 78 and doors on the truck at one time. Door panels are incorrect for the 77 as well.

None the less, GREAT SCORE for sure.

77 was the 1st year for power locks and windows on trucks. And the door panels are correct for a 77. [IMG]

Good to know. I figured the door panels didn't match the wood grain on the dash.
