Pro-flo 4 efi has arrived! Stay tuned for install and review thread. Most notable thing I noticed right off is that every component had an AC Delco part number (the sensors anyway). That $130 polished air cleaner assembly comes free with the kit. I didn't need it but, free is free.

I like it! I might have to give it a try. Have you read anything about performance differences between the 4150 style and the tunnel style?

No I haven't. They're the same price. The "tunnel" version is called the XT. I like it better but it wont clear serpentine drive systems.

Oh that’s good to know. So 4150 only with serpentine. I wonder why no all black kit in the 4150 style.

supposedly they were going to release pro 4 plus in 2019 that has an integrated controller for OD transmissions. No word on that?

That's a great looking piece. A follow up on installation and performance would be nice.

Looking forward to your write up! I've been checking this system out a lot because I want to put something like it on my El Camino. I was hoping they come out with a dual quad version in the future because I want that old school race look with efi. If not I'm considering an XT'd big block.

Hey y'all. Got a few pix here of the install. It's been slow going due to other things going on. One of the big time consumers is the wiring. I've had to pull unused wires out of loom, run new wire, etc. I try to install the wiring like factory for reliability. I run wire, crimp the terminals, solder it, heatshrink over it, loom it and clamp it. Very time consuming.

As you can see, so much for a clean, uncluttered engine compartment! Between the Vintage Air, Dakota Digital guages, serpentine drive , remote fuel sump and dual electric fans...it gets busy.

Anyway, I'll add some details about the install soon. Just wanted to give an update. Hope to fire it up in a day or two.

The remote sump is not part of the kit. I bought it earlier to use with my POS Sniper.

Other notable things that you must buy are a coil (Blaster 2) and the Edelbrock fuel cable bracket. Thier bracket is the only one specifically made for the PF4.

I really like the way this one looks.
I may have to start saving for one to put on my big block...

If it performs as good as the original Pro-flo I had I'll be ecstatic! It ran like an OEM vehicle from day one for over 15 years.
